Blanc de Blancs made from high-elevation Chardonnay grown at 2,000 feet. 1.5 grams of dosage, aged for 48 months on lees.
Pale straw color with very fine bubbles, our inaugural release of Manchester Ridge Blanc de Blancs is powerfully wound, with a richly textured palate and pronounced acidity. Acacia, hawthorn, and citrus blossom notes intertwine with subtle ginger and delicate orchard fruits.
Spending forty-eight months on the lees the wine exudes delicate layers of yellow fruits, citrus, salinity, toasted bread, and a mineral tension at its core. This wine is very fresh and young and we anticipate it evolving through 2030. A compelling example of the finesse and grace possible in California when site selection, climate, and process work together in unity.
Base wines are aged in neutral oak barrels before tirage bottling. Aged for 48 months on lees before disgorgement. 1.5 g/l dosage. Disgorged in January 2023.

Manchester Ridge Vineyard sits at a 2,000-foot elevation due west of Anderson Valley and about four miles from the Pacific Ocean. On the ridge tops of the Pacific Coast mountain ranges, this vineyard resides above the fog throughout the year.
The maritime influence coupled with the bright yet cool sun on the coast increases the hang time of our Blanc de Blancs, further elevating the bright mineral tones imparted by the Goldridge soils.Unpredictably blustery, cold, and ever-changing, the climate at Manchester Ridge Vineyard is by far the most challenging of all of the vineyards we work with but the rewards are amongst the greatest.
